#R1##TD2# McCargan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Savage is trying to defend but McCargan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Savage has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McCargan is working away from the top position though. Savage knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McCargan on the ground. McCargan works his foot free and advances to mount. Savage regains half guard. McCargan is looking to stall here but Savage recovers full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCargan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.#T1# Savage is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. McCargan won't allow Savage to sweep him here. #SU2# McCargan stands and steps away. Savage gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. #TD# Savage drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Savage slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. #SUB2# Savage stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! McCargan throws up his legs and catches Savage in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Savage tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by McCargan! That came out of nowhere!
