Guy feints and then cracks Virus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Virus down. A chopping leg kick lands by Guy. #CL2# Virus takes the fight into the clinch. Guy trying to land knees to the body.
Guy has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Virus tries to break free but Guy pushes him back against the cage. Virus misses with an elbow strike.

As Virus comes back towards him, Guy unloads a hook from the very depths of hell that knocks Virus clean out! Oh. My. God. That is some seriously brutal stuff right there! What a knockout!

Sacred Saints Gang swings and misses with a shot to the body letting Athanas counter with a right hand. #CUT#It looks like Og King Kong Sacred Saints Gang has been cut. Sacred Saints Gang tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Some wild striking there from Sacred Saints Gang.

and Athanas counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Sacred Saints Gang to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Athanas!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fjordlinginsson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Fjordlinginsson fails with the takedown and Virus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Fjordlinginsson tries for a takedown but Virus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Fjordlinginsson misses with a takedown and Virus counters with a lovely shot to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bjorg Fjordlinginsson. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD# Fjordlinginsson feints and as Virus raises his hands in defense, Fjordlinginsson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Fjordlinginsson trying to control but Virus is working from the bottom. Virus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fjordlinginsson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Virus is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. #SUB# Virus wants to improve his position here. There's a bit of a scramble and Fjordlinginsson has taken Virus's back! He's locked on a rear naked choke here and Virus has been forced to tap!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! He must have been working on that in the gym. Tsu takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Tsu goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Warrior fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tsu. Warrior lands a nice looking body kick. Tsu swings widly with a right hand

Ebo connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Ebo keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Costa looks to land a left hand but Ebo moved out of range nicely. Ebo throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Ebo lands a nice looking body kick. Costa is breathing heavily. Ebo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Costa misses with a straight right. Ebo cracks Costa on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Costa falls backwards against the cage. Ebo follows up with more strikes that drop Costa to his knees. Ebo keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Costa! This one is all over!

Steven Gull seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tyler slaps away a takedown attempt from Gull, before circling back to the center of the mat. Gull shoots in and drives through. Tyler sprawls well. Gull tries to clinch and Tyler counters with a nice leg kick. Gull blocks a head kick by Tyler.
Tyler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gull fails with a takedown attempt. Yves Tyler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven Gull. Gull shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tyler defends it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tyler stuffs the takedown. As Gull backs away, Tyler returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Tyler here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Tyler has momentary wrist control but Gull slips an elbow through the middle.#T4# Gull's corner is telling him to maintain position. Gull won't allow Tyler to get back to his feet. Gull seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gull's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Tyler has momentary wrist control but Gull slips an elbow through the middle. Gull engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Gull lands a couple of decent looking shots. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tyler wants to stand up but Gull is controlling him.

Machine circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Machine takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Virus scores with a shoulder strike. Virus gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Virus lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Machine backwards. A right handed body shot lands from Virus.

Virus throws a hook but Machine avoids it easily. Machine looks for the body kick but Virus saw that one coming. Machine misses with a takedown attempt and Virus counters with a straight right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Machine misses with a head kick.

It looked like Richards was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Richards misses with a takedown attempt and Tyler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Tyler lands with a right hand. Richards misses with a wild combination.
Richards with a poor takedown and Tyler counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roddy Richards. That's going to take a lot out of him. Richards dives in for a single leg takedown but Tyler sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Richards goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Tyler dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Richards. That did some damage! Mckean's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mckean keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tyler's head. #KD# and Gruff counters with a nice right hand that sends Costa toppling to the canvas! Costa scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Gruff finish him?!#CUT# It looks like Pablo Costa has been cut. Pablo Costa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gruff lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Costa head around and knocks him out cold! Gruff hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
