Shango wants to land a leg kick but Zaitsev is out of range. Zaitsev lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.#CUT# It looks like Papa Shango has been cut. Zaitsev connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Zaitsev dips to his left and cracks Shango with an uppercut! A looping hook to the body misses from Zaitsev. Shango does a little dance to reset his feet. Zaitsev looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Shango throws a counter combo. A slapping leg kick lands for Zaitsev.
Zaitsev lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Zaitsev misses with a right hand and Zaitsev takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dmitri Zaitsev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zaitsev fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Zaitsev misses the jab. Zaitsev is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shango. Shango gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.#CUT# That has opened up Papa Shango's cut even more. Zaitsev swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Zaitsev is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shango. Shango feints a counter leg kick. Jab from Zaitsev.#CUT# The cut above Papa Shango's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shango dodges the punch combination from Zaitsev.
Nice shot lands for Zaitsev.#CUT# Papa Shango's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Shango works Zaitsev's body with a nice hook. Shango takes one on the chin but seems OK.

A relieved looking Dmitri Zaitsev thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Cavendish sees it coming and avoids it easily. Danga de danga de dang - Cavendish scores with a four punch combination! Shango motions for Cavendish to come forward. Shango throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Cavendish lands a really nice looking cross but Shango seems unphased.
Cavendish closes the distance and lands a one-two. Cavendish connects with a crisp jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cavendish lands a jab to the nose. Shango walks into a stiff left hand from Cavendish.#KD# Shango cracks Cavendish with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Shango has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cavendish to stand back up!#ROC# Cavendish is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Marcel Cavendish has been cut. #CUT2# It looks like Pierre Gautier has been cut. Perri in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gautier controls Perri momentarily but Perri frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This has been an exciting period of action!#SUB2# Perri thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Perri wants to get up but he can't break Gautier's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Perri throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gautier wants to stand but Perri is controlling the position. Perri connects with a couple of short punches. Gautier pulls Perri in close to prevent any damage. Gautier has a closed guard, preventing Perri from standing up. #T1# Perri wants to stand and escape but instead Gautier has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVR# Gautier wants to control from the top but Perri keeps moving. #SUB2# Perri working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Gautier has passed into half guard!

Gautier gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Will he be able to recover?!!#T3##SU2# Perri has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Perri looks to land a combination but Gautier avoids it well. Gautier feinted there with a counter leg kick. Gautier wants to stay close but Perri steps back to make room for something. Gautier seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Perri and Gautier drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Jones avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Delgado shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.#TD2# Delgado looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Delgado is pushing down on Jones's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jones is fighting to maintain full guard but Delgado has managed to sneak the leg through. Delgado content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Jones could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#SUB2# Delgado is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
