Brigante sprawls well initially but Burks persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brigante wants to get back to his feet. Brigante is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Burks looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! #R3##TD# Burks scores with a takedown into Brigante's guard. Burks looking to sit in guard and control but Brigante gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB# Brigante wants to control from the top but Burks keeps moving. Gordon Burks overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Brigante slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Brigante is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Burks knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Brigante wants to get back to his feet but Burks drags him back down. Burks is looking to take a break and control but Brigante is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that's the end of the fight! Gordon Burks showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Burks, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
