#R1##TD# Krawlee scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Rivera is looking to reverse the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rivera is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.#SUB# Krawlee is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Rivera looks calm but he's in trouble here. Krawlee gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Rivera is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Krawlee lets go of the hold and Rivera can pop his arm back in it's socket.

#R1# RIvera takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. RIvera takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Roncaglia throws a left and a right that both miss
#TD2# so RIvera counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. #SUB2# RIvera drops back looking for a leg! Roncaglia is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Roncaglia manages to kick RIvera off! RIvera jumps back into Roncaglia's guard. RIvera controlling from the top position. Roncaglia is trying to control the position but RIvera postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. RIvera scoring with punches to the head and body. RIvera is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. RIvera passes Roncaglia's right leg, so he's now in half guard. #T1# RIvera seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Roncaglia does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. #SUB2# RIvera in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Roncaglia tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from RIvera!

#R1##TD2# Rivera shoots in and bounces Roncaglia off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rivera is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Rivera's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#SUB# Roncaglia throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Rivera escapes and throws Roncaglia's legs to the side, diving into side control! Rivera controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roncaglia is pushing Rivera's head away, looking to escape. Rivera manages to hold on to the position though.#T1# Roncaglia tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Roncaglia is trying to reverse the position but instead Rivera has taken his back - oops! Roncaglia is trying to break free.
#SUB2# Roncaglia is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Rivera gets his way!
#SUB2# Rivera is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Roncaglia has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Rivera has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Roncaglia taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Rivera doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Austin throws a strike aimed at the side of Rivera's head but Rivera avoids it well.#SUB# Austin is trying to get an arm triangle but Rivera is defending well. Rivera is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Austin's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Rivera wants to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rivera slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Austin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Rivera working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Austin. Michael Page seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Page tries to close the distance and clinch but Taberna swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Taberna takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Page misses with a head kick.
#TD# Taberna closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. You can see the frustration on Page's face as Taberna controls the position. Page takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Taberna in side control, just content to control the action for now. Page is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Taberna has just dragged him back down to the mat. Taberna works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1##SU# Taberna decides to stand back up. Page throws a nice outside leg kick. Page tries to close the distance and clinch but Taberna swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Taberna is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
