Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Cedric LeVour! Cedric LeVour spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Strickland stumbles back but Thurmond runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Strickland to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Strickland will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Mc Gregor throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jacobs shoots in but no luck this time. #TD2# Mc Gregor drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Mc Gregor slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jacobs wants to stand and escape but Mc Gregor is having none of it. Mc Gregor with a flurry of punches that miss. Mc Gregor looking to pass the guard. Jacobs wants to sweep here but Mc Gregor controlling him for the moment. #T1##SU2# Jacobs is working an open guard so Mc Gregor takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.#TD2# Jacobs gets caught napping as Mc Gregor dives in and scores a takedown. Jacobs manages to retain guard. Mc Gregor is looking to work some ground and pound but Jacobs has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SU2# Mc Gregor gets to his feet. Jacobs looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Mc Gregor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jacobs circles away quickly and effectively. Jacobs shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Despite the aggression on Mc Gregor's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.#TD2# Mc Gregor shoots in and bounces Jacobs off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mc Gregor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. #SU2# Mc Gregor stands and steps away. Jacobs gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Mc Gregor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
#T2# Mc Gregor lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mc Gregor connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Jacobs! He's out on his feet! Mc Gregor rushes in and drops Jacobs with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Conor Mc Gregor! A very excited looking Conor Mc Gregor rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Cobb stopping the sweep attempt from Denisov. Denisov being controlled here, momentarily. Cobb really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Denisov controlling the position. Cobb has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Denisov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cobb is one step ahead there. Denisov wants to improve his position but instead Cobb has moved into half guard.

It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Zee manages to end up in side control.#SUB2# Zee wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jacobs, who protects the arm well. Jacobs tries to escape but Zee is in control. Jacobs is looking for a sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jacobs gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Jacobs misses with some strikes from the bottom.
