Dyer is controlling Sheets's trapped leg to prevent Sheets from advancing to side control. Dyer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sheets is just content to waste time from the top position. Dyer takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Sheets throws a strike but Dyer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR##T1# Dyer throwing strikes but missing. Sheets looks winded! Sheets trying to keep a closed guard but Dyer is proving a slippery customer.
Dyer with a nice head shot there. Sheets looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sheets is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Cage dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Cage tries to stand and escape but Dyer is controlling the position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Cage landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Cage passes to side control. Cage is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Cage has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Dyer is looking to reverse the position. Cage is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. It looks like Cage might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Nury misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nury lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dyer dives in for a single leg takedown but Nury sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Jebucki Nury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick misses from Nury. Nury looks winded! Nury throws a sloppy head kick and Dyer moves out of range easily. It looked like Dyer was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.#CL2# Nury gets in close and instigates a clinch. Dyer is trying to drag Nury to the mat but Nury just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.#TD# Dyer jumps into guard, dragging Nury to the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nury digs a right hand underneath Dyer's ribcage. Dyer let out a lung full of air as it connected. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nury lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Dyer throws a counter high kick but Pooface was just alert enough to avoid it. Pooface tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Dyer appears to be looking for a big counter.#TD2# Pooface shoots in and bounces Dyer off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Dyer has a closed guard, preventing Pooface from standing up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pooface is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.#SUB2# Pooface drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dyer manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pooface has Dyer in his guard.#REVR##T1# Dyer stopping the sweep attempt from Pooface.
