Pierre is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Soto looks calm but he's in trouble here. Pierre gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Soto is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Pierre lets go of the hold and Soto can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Soto has hold of Grenier's hands but Grenier slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Soto tries to roll over but Grenier keeps him under control.

Grenier is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kim Soto will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kim Soto.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Soto, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Jobber chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Soto can pounce on him. #CL#
Soto moves into range and clinches up with Jobber.
Jobber drops down looking for an ankle pick but Soto pulls his leg out and moves away. #TD#
Soto shoots in and bounces Jobber off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
