Evereld throws a right hand that Grant ducks under and follows up with a left that Grant also avoids with ease.#TD# Evereld gets caught napping as Grant dives in and scores a takedown. Evereld manages to retain guard. Evereld tries to land a sweep but no joy. Grant wants to stand but Evereld is controlling his posture from full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Evereld pulls Grant in close to prevent any damage. Grant could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Evereld wants to sweep here but Grant controlling him for the moment. #T1# Grant trying to stand up but can't free himself from Evereld's guard. Evereld wants to sweep but no luck. Sir Evereld dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Sir Evereld showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Grant's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round! #R3##TD2# Evereld closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Grant's guard. Grant can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Evereld controls the pace. Let's hope that Evereld has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Grant controls Evereld momentarily but Evereld frees himself. Grant might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Evereld stands and throws Grant's legs to the side, diving into side control. Evereld slows the pace down. #T1# Evereld works to advance to full mount. Grant defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Evereld controlling his opponent. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Evereld. Evereld has the hooks in. Grant is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Evereld controlling from the back. More stalling from Evereld. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Sir Evereld comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Evereld has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. #R1# Cirfych darts in looking for a takedown but Carey gets double underhooks and turns Cirfych into the cage. #CL# Carey has closed the distance and engaged Cirfych in a clinch.
#TD# Carey gets control of Cirfych's arms and successfully pulls guard. Carey will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.#SUB# Carey working for a triangle but Cirfych defends it easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Carey is on top in guard.
#REVR# Carey trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carey stands up over Cirfych, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. #SU# Carey decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cirfych, up you get! Carey shoots in for a takedown but Cirfych shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Carey throws a low kick but Cirfych moves out of range easily. #T1##TD# Carey feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Carey scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Carey with a flurry of punches that miss. Carey with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Cirfych has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Carey has passed into side control.

Franklin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Grant shoots for a takedown but Franklin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Franklin fails with the takedown and Grant counters with a one-two to the body. Franklin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Grant sprawls well. Grant wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Franklin gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Franklin shoots in looking for a takedown but Grant manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Franklin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Coy Grant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Franklin. Grant shoots in but no luck this time. #TD# Grant gets the takedown into side control. Check out the look on Grant's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
