Pain is breathing heavily. Pain stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kavlitzekis swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pain working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Kavlitzekis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pain gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Pain is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. #SUB# Pain postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kavlitzekis is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pain, into his guard. #REVB# Kavlitzekis has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Rabid Dog. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Pain wants to sweep here but Kavlitzekis controlling him for the moment. Horrible takedown attempt by Paparis or perhaps it was just good defense by Mayhew, which made it look bad. Paparis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gladius shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Enkamp counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Gladius is trying hard to land a takedown here. Enkamp sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Enkamp tried to counter with a leg kick but Gladius avoided it. Jesse Enkamp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marius Gladius. Gladius with a lazy takedown attempt and Enkamp counters with a slapping leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gladius doesn't succeed with the takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Hupp's coaches at The Bear's Den have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Gladius has knee on belly and moves into mount. Gladius pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

Gladius manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. No luck for Faflatas with that takedown attempt. Gladius darts in looking for a takedown but Faflatas gets double underhooks and turns Gladius into the cage. Faflatas moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Gladius fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Faflatas defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gladius. It looked like Faflatas was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Nick Faflatas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marius Gladius. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice sprawl there from Faflatas as Gladius shoots in. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Sennin has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kavlitzekis is really squeezing tight and eventually Sennin passes out! August scores with a sloppy right hand. Skatias should have avoided that one. Juno August seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Skatias staying out of range there. Skatias lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Skatias moves forwards but August connects with a nice, crisp jab. August lands with an uppercut that bounces Skatias off the cage and back into range. Skatias misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from August.

Lindeberg content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Lindeberg must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
