We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roberts throws a body punch but Miura moves out of range. Roberts is looking for a sweep. Bressler is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Roberts gets back to full guard.
Bressler wants to control from the top but Roberts keeps moving. Bressler postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Roberts is controlling Bressler's posture. Roberts's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roberts looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Roberts bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bressler's guard. #REVR##T1# Roberts trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. #R1##TD2# Johnson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.#SUB2# Johnson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Johnson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Winters is positioning himself to get back to half guard. You can see the frustration on Winters's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winters tries to bench press Johnson off him but Johnson keeps the position. Johnson cracks Winters with a big right hand but Winters just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
#T1# Winters is trying to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Winters down.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. McClane lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.#CUT2# It looks like Guadalupe Winters has been cut. McClane throws a poor cross that misses
#TD# and Winters counters with a nice double leg into side control. McClane won't be happy with that. #SUB# Winters goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, McClane has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Winters but great work by McClane. Winters wants to control but McClane postures up. This has been an exciting period of action! McClane wants to stand but Winters is controlling his arm. Winters looks to move to half guard but instead McClane has passed into mount! Damn! Winters tries to reverse the position but McClane maintains control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Winters is working hard here to advance position.#T1# Winters tries to hold on but McClane pushes him away. Winters can't escape the position.
