Hyde lands a glancing blow to the side of Phillips's head.#CUT2# It looks like Stefan Phillips has been cut. Hyde fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hyde looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Phillips is fending him off so far but Hyde persists. Nope, Phillips circles away and we're back to standing. Stefan Phillips has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Phillips controlling from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hyde shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Phillips counters with a head kick. That will keep Hyde thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Stefan Phillips. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Phillips, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
