Peters misses with a takedown attempt - Stevenson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Stevenson is looking for the big counter here. Stevenson throws a lazy right hand but Peters sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Peters half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Peters avoids a punch combination nicely.
Peters connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Peters takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Stevenson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Sloppy strikes from Stevenson. Those never looked like landing. Stevenson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Peters manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stevenson manages to get himself to full guard.

Stevenson can't keep hold of the triangle and Peters manages to pass to side control! Peters wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stevenson keeps working. Stevenson is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on Stevenson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Peters is putting a hurting on Stevenson here, landing some big shots from side control. Stevenson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Peters lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Stevenson down.
Stevenson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Peters off and has taken his back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peters manages to reverse the position and now he's in Stevenson's guard. Nice work there by Peters.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stevenson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aaron Peters. I think Stevenson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
