Strickland dives in for a single leg takedown but Oquinn sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Oquinn darts in looking for a takedown but Strickland gets double underhooks and turns Oquinn into the cage.
Strickland tries to counter by clinching up but Oquinn breaks away and moves out of range.
Oquinn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Oquinn misses with a takedown attempt - Strickland sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.#CL2#
Strickland tries to keep at a distance but Oquinn has taken the fight into the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cletus Strickland. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Strickland will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Oquinn up against the cage.
Strickland jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Oquinn walks away with a smile on his face. Strickland gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Oquinn.
Strickland went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
