Strickland dives in for a single leg takedown but Oquinn sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Oquinn darts in looking for a takedown but Strickland gets double underhooks and turns Oquinn into the cage.
Strickland tries to counter by clinching up but Oquinn breaks away and moves out of range.
Oquinn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Oquinn misses with a takedown attempt - Strickland sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.#CL2#
Strickland tries to keep at a distance but Oquinn has taken the fight into the clinch.
Strickland fails to pull guard.
Strickland tries to pull guard but Oquinn forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cletus Strickland. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
