The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hurley wants to get back to his feet but Wells passes into half guard.
Wells is looking to advance position but Hurley won't allow it. Wells thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. #SUB2# Wells is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hurley wants to improve his position but Wells is controlling well.
Wells takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wells wants to pass the guard but Hurley is defending well. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Hurley is trying to keep an underhook but Wells manages to get the takedown into half guard.#ES# Hurley manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Wells keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Wells throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hurley drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Wells gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Demarcus Hurley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hurley is looking to break free of the clinch but Wells has double underhooks. #TD2# Wells gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Hurley regains guard.

Wells presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. #T3# Wells lands a hook to the side of the head. Wells is trying to pull guard but Hurley has him pressed against the cage. Wells takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.#TD# Hurley manages to pull guard.
Hurley is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wells is controlling him. Hurley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wells manages to get himself to full guard.

Hurley has picked Wells up and slammed him! Wells can't keep hold of the triangle and Hurley manages to pass to side control! Wells tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Hurley presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Hurley is in the full mount, landing strikes. Hurley fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Max Wells is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Geovani is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Suarez dives into side control.

#TD2# Lonestar jumps guard and drags Johns to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Lonestar trying to control the position here. Lonestar throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johns trying to stand up but can't free himself from Lonestar's guard. Lonestar utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Johns stopping the sweep attempt from Lonestar. Johns wants to control from the top but Lonestar keeps moving. Johns will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.#T1# Lonestar has Johns pulled in close to control his posture. Erling is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Erling has a closed guard, preventing Johns from standing up. Johns trying to control the position from guard on top but Erling is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Erling has a closed guard, preventing Johns from standing up. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Erling shoots for a takedown but Johns saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Johns was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.#CL2# Erling clinches.

Suckletooth has hold of a guillotine from the top though... oh, that looks naaaaasty, will Johns tap? Yes he will! The fight is all over! Suckletooth jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd.
