#TD2# and Krakenik counters with a shoot takedown. Senior fights it but they end up in guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Krakenik working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Krakenik is working Senior over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Krakenik scoring with some ground and pound. Senior seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Myles scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Senior doesn't seem bothered though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McArthur throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Black blocks it with crossed arms. Black managing to block the knees to the body from McArthur.
#TD2# McArthur works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Senior has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Watson preventing the sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Senior trying to control the position here. Senior trying to keep a closed guard but Watson is proving a slippery customer.
