We've been hearing reports that Powell has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Powell is looking to clinch but Wiggins is avoiding it.

enabling Rockwell to counter with a crisp jab. Zioa with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rockwell to score with a decent uppercut. Zioa fails with the takedown and Rockwell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.#ROC2# Zioa is rocked! Rockwell throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rockwell listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Oh Zioa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Zioa takes a body punch but keeps moving. Zioa seems to have got his legs back now. Rockwell has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Zioa is landing a low percentage of strikes. Zioa falls to his knees and Rockwell doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Wiggins lands with an uppercut that bounces Klant off the cage and back into range. Wiggins tries to clinch but Klant moves away and Klant counters with a lovely straight right hand! Klant misses with a wild body shot. Wiggins takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big left from Klant misses. Klant comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Klant misses with an uppercut. Wiggins saw that one coming. Wiggins pulls out of a head kick attempt.
#T1# Wiggins lands with a kick to the temple. Klant shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Wiggins uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Klant. Wiggins tries to clinch but Klant is having none of it. Wiggins steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Klant. Klant connects with the punch. Andrew Wiggins is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Klant moves forwards but Wiggins connects with a nice, crisp jab. Wiggins throws a head kick but Klant moves out of range.

Klant connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wiggins's hands. Sloppy strikes from Klant. Those never looked like landing. Despite the aggression on Wiggins's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.#T2# Klant throws a head kick but Wiggins moves out of range.
Wiggins tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Klant manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Klant is looking to counter with head kicks. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wiggins will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Wiggins defending well as Klant loads up on a big left hand. Wiggins lands with a nice body punch. That kick from Wiggins tenderised Klant's leg. Klant is trying to keep his angry face on. Klant looks to throw the jab but Wiggins is out of range. Klant lands a nice shot that snaps Wiggins's head back.

Wiggins takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Wiggins lands a nice looking body kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#CL2# Wiggins moves into the clinch. Wiggins blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Klant throws a head punch that misses. Wiggins lands a right hand. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Wiggins. Wiggins lands a body shot in the clinch.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wiggins tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Klant avoids it. Klant is trying to break free. Wiggins pushes off an throws an elbow but Klant leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Klant can't find room to land a body shot as Wiggins controls the action.

Rob misses with a looping right. Rob throws a body punch but Wooten moves out of range. Rob throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wooten throws a head kick but Rob moves out of range.

and Wooten counters with a three punch combo that has Rob backing up. Rob nods at Wooten to acknowledge the strikes. No joy there for Rob, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Nice straight punches there by Rob. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rob. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rob, right into the meat.

Oh Wooten is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Rob is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Wooten had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Rob connects with a crisp jab. Some wild striking there from Wooten.
#T4# Rob throws a jab when Wooten was well out of range. Rob throws a quick inside leg kick. Wooten takes a shot right to the bread basket. Rob bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Rob slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Rob showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wooten.
Rob connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wooten. Wooten circles away out of range and recomposes himself. I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Rob has cracked Wooten with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Rob lands another huge swinging hook and Wooten tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Wooten, before Rob can land any more shots!
