We've been told by Smoking's head coaches at Five Round Fight Club NY (50 max) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Williams lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. John Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smoking takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Williams throws a combination that misses #CL# and Smoking counters by clinching up. Smoking letting Williams take a breather here. Come on Smoking - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Smoking will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jack Smoking's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. John Williams is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Smoking takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Williams moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Bolsdeep gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Bolsdeep regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Williams. Williams postures up and lands a big shot to Bolsdeep's brow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bolsdeep keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully. Bolsdeep throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Bolsdeep looking to sweep here. No luck so far. #T1# Bolsdeep is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bolsdeep keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully. Bolsdeep is adopting a defensive guard. Williams wants to control from the top but Bolsdeep keeps moving. Bland lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lee backwards. Lee throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bland blocks it with crossed arms. Lee's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lee gets through Bland's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bland creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. #T1# Lee tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Welling tries for a takedown but Rodgers circles away easily and Rodgers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. This has been an exciting period of action! Rodgers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Welling moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Welling shoots in and drives through. Rodgers sprawls well. Welling shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rodgers as he avoids it easily. #KD2# Rodgers moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Welling goes down! Can Rodgers finish him!? Rodgers postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Welling covers up, he's hurt! Rodgers keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Rodgers and the ref steps in to end the fight! Rodgers can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Jackson Stewert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stewert misses with a few strikes there.

Bland jabs Lee right on the nose. Lee blinks but takes it well.#KD2# Bland drops Lee with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lee looks back up at him and smiles so Bland waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#ROC2# Lee is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Wong Lee has been cut. Bland connects with a body shot. Oh Lee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bland fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Lee out cold! Brutal finish!
