#R1# Alvarado uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Trujillo. Alvarado really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#TD2# Trujillo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Alvarado tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Trujillo is in Alvarado's guard. Alvarado has a closed guard, preventing Trujillo from standing up. #SUB# Alvarado is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Trujillo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trujillo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Trujillo sitting in guard here, content to control. Trujillo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. #T1##SUB2# Trujillo drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Trujillo seems to have locked his on tight now - Alvarado screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Trujillo, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Miguel Trujillo!
