Adams looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Adams postures up.
Adams must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Adams throwing strikes but missing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adams prevents Gardner from getting back to his feet. Gardner looking to control.

Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

#R1# Whitehouse keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Davies throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
As Davies backs off Whitehouse throws a huge counter combo but Davies manages to avoid it all. Some wild striking there from Davies.
Whitehouse throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davies. Davies throws a combination that misses and Whitehouse counters with a three punch combo that has Davies backing up. Davies nods at Whitehouse to acknowledge the strikes. Davies checks a leg kick. Whitehouse cracks a nice hook into Davies's ribs. Davies avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A left lands for Whitehouse. A slow jab from Davies misses its intended target. Whitehouse unleashes a big counter combination but Davies bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Davies throws a left and a right that both miss
and Whitehouse counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Whitehouse scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Davies swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Whitehouse fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Davies looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.#T1# Whitehouse throws a one two combo.
Whitehouse shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Davies eats them both and turns towards Whitehouse to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Davies will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Davies throws a series of punches but Whitehouse avoids them all with ease. A decent looking cross lands there for Whitehouse. Whitehouse scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Davies misses with the combination.
Whitehouse moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Davies swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Davies lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Whitehouse circles away quickly and effectively. Davies misses with a series of wild punches.

Whitehouse goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Davies misses with the body kick and Whitehouse counters with a left and a right that stings Davies. #ROC2# Davies is rocked! Davies seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Whitehouse shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Davies is backing up but Whitehouse catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Davies covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Whitehouse Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scorchio Whitehouse! Scorchio Whitehouse spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. In defeat, Evan Davies stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm devastated to get beat. I leave everything in the ring when I fight but congratulations to my opponent for a great fight.'.

#R1# Horrible takedown attempt by Worsell or perhaps it was just good defense by Mcintyre, which made it look bad. #CL# Mcintyre has closed the distance and engaged Worsell in a clinch.

Worsell with a flurry of punches that miss. Worsell looking to sit in guard and control but Mcintyre gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Mcintyre stopping the sweep attempt from Worsell. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Worsell trying to keep a closed guard but Mcintyre is proving a slippery customer.
Worsell is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.#T1# Mcintyre throws a big right hand that misses. Worsell wants to stand and escape but Mcintyre is having none of it. Romero tries for a takedown but Phung sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.#CL2# Phung gets a clinch. #TD2# Phung jumps guard and drags Romero to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Phung is controlling Romero's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Phung is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Romero tries to counter by clinching up but Phung breaks away and moves out of range. Romero closes the distance and clinches up with Phung, looking for a takedown. Romero pushes Phung against the cage but Phung circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lee Phung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#T4# Phung fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
