Takimura tries to pull guard but Otami forces him back to his feet, against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Takimura's face as he tries to break the clinch. Otami lands a knee to the body.

A frustrated look appears on Takimura's face as he tries to break the clinch. Takimura tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Otami just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryu Takimura. That's going to take a lot out of him. Otami tries to avoid it but Takimura manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Otami to the ground. Otami has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Otami is looking to improve his position but Takimura isn't that keen on the idea. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Murdermanis tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Anderson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Anderson working the ground and pound.
