Romano jabs Causey right on the nose. Causey blinks but takes it well. Romano motions for Causey to come forward. Romano throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Romano misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Romano connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.#T1# Romano lands with a nice body punch. Romano is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Causey throws a nice looking combination but Romano bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Brett Causey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Causey throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
We've been told by Romano's head coaches at JAG Battle Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Causey takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

#R1# A combination from Black does no damage. Android Gogeta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gogeta is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Black - that will leave a mark!
Gogeta waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Black. Gogeta tries to clinch and Black counters with a thumping low kick. Black throws a right hand that Gogeta ducks under and follows up with a left that Gogeta also avoids with ease. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gogeta misses with a few strikes there.
#TD# Gogeta closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gogeta lands in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Black keeping moving, preventing Gogeta from controlling successfully. #T1# Gogeta passes Black's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gogeta lands a nice short elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Black is staying active underneath Gogeta, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Black on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. #SU# Gogeta decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. #TD# Gogeta closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Black to the mat! Black manages to get full guard. #T2# Gogeta with a nice head shot there. Gogeta is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Gogeta has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Black can't keep his opponent in guard - Gogeta advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Black is refusing to be controlled, as Gogeta sits in half guard. #T3# Gogeta not doing much here.
#SU# The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gogeta postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Black to stand up. #T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.#TD# Gogeta throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Black was covering up waiting for the punch and Gogeta finishes the takedown easily into guard. Black looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Gogeta slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Gogeta wants to control from the top but Black keeps moving. Gogeta sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Black's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#SUB2# Black actively working from the bottom here. Gogeta tries to pass to full mount but Black defends it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gogeta controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Gogeta slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gogeta wants to lay and pray for a moment but Black keeps working. Black is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Gogeta is one step ahead and moves to full mount!#T1# Black really wants to buck Gogeta off and get back to his feet. Android Gogeta overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Black is squirming around, avoiding Gogeta's attempts to control the action. Gogeta with good strikes from the mount here!#SUB# Gogeta is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Gogeta extends the arm and Black is forced to tap!

After the fight, Android Gogeta was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Baker has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.#CL# Anawalla closes the distance and clinches. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Konor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Causey is keeping the position for now. Causey is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Russian Bears Training Center that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.#T1# Konor is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Causey is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Konor engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Causey has momentary wrist control but Kora slips an elbow through the middle. Kora lands a couple of decent looking shots. Kora's corner is telling him to maintain position. Black moves forwards but Tantor connects with a nice, crisp jab. Tantor drops Black with a huge uppercut! Black drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Tantor is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Bugbee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bugbee checks a low kick from Otori. Bugbee is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Otori throws a right and a left that both miss. A bone on bone clash there as Bugbee blocks the leg kick.

Young could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Gladius wants to control from the top but Young keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gladius slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. #SUB# Gladius got a little sloppy there for a moment and Young has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! Miller seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Parish for as long as he can get away with. Miller lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Parish can do anything to dispel that myth. Miller controlling the action here. Miller thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Parish's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
