#R1# Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Baxter pinned against the cage. Baxter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jones looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Baxter throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely. Horrible takedown attempt by Baxter or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones, which made it look bad. Baxter misses with the combination.
Baxter tries for a takedown but Jones sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. No luck for Baxter with that takedown attempt. John Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lincoln Baxter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones goes for a double leg but Baxter avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Baxter continues to drive forward. Baxter wants to clinch.#T1# Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Baxter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat. Baxter tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. Jones throws a wild hook but Baxter just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Jones gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Baxter raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

As Lincoln Baxter got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I just want to kill my loose parents. Thank you for the support. A looping hook to the body misses from Jorbly. Cena does a little dance to reset his feet. A lazy body kick from Jorbly #TD# and Cena counters with a nice double leg into side control.
