Sigthorsson is in Bush's guard.#SUB# Bush had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sigthorsson defends it easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Bush working for a triangle but Sigthorsson defends it easily.

#T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bush lands a big shot. Bush really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bush tries to clinch up but Sigthorsson circles away and keeps his distance.#CL# Bush gets in close and instigates a clinch. Sigthorsson being controlled against the cage. Sigthorsson wants to get back to striking at distance but Bush won't allow it.

#TD# Bush is trying to trip Sigthorsson. He has hold of a leg but Sigthorsson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bush persists though and gets the takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Archie Bush dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. #R2##TD# Bush manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sigthorsson on his heels. He'll look to pass Sigthorsson's guard now, I'm sure. Sigthorsson is looking to stand back up but Bush counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Sigthorsson. #REVB# Bush scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Sigthorsson has hold of Bush's hands but Bush slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Bush winds up and cracks Sigthorsson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Bush drops an elbow to the side of Sigthorsson's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bush seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Sigthorsson trying to control but Bush postures up.

Ground and pound from Bush. #SU# Bush decides to return to a standing position. Sigthorsson swats away the attempt to clinch by Bush.#TD# Bush feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.#T2##SUB2# Sigthorsson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Bush escapes and throws Sigthorsson's legs to the side, diving into side control! Sigthorsson is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bush connects with a decent elbow. Sigthorsson is looking to reverse the position. Bush working the body and head with strikes. Bush has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sigthorsson is pushing Bush's head away, looking to escape. Bush manages to hold on to the position though. Bush lands some shots froms side control. Sigthorsson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T3# Sigthorsson looks to move to half guard but instead Bush has passed into mount! Damn! Bush working the ground and pound effectively.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bush with good strikes from the mount here! Sigthorsson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bush takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Sigthorsson is trying to escape the mount.
#T4# Bush lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Bush avoids the attempt from Sigthorsson to control. Sigthorsson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bush haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Sigthorsson is looking to improve his position but Bush isn't that keen on the idea. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bush has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sigthorsson's face.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bush's guard. Sigthorsson looking to sit in guard and control but Bush gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Bush landing some decent shots from guard. Bush scoring with punches to the head and body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sigthorsson has momentary wrist control but Bush slips an elbow through the middle.
