Archer misses with a takedown and Archer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Archer has his takedown stuffed and Silvia counters with a stiff right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shawn Archer. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hudson throws a combination that misses #TD# and Archer counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Hudson! Archer controls the position. Hudson is looking to regain half guard here but Archer keeps moving and retains side control. Hudson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Hudson is being controlled here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Archer trying to control the position but Hudson is working away. Archer tries to advance to mount but can't. #T1# Archer is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Hudson gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Archer controlling from the full mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hudson is working to get back to half guard.

Draven throws a right hand that Rand ducks under and follows up with a left that Rand also avoids with ease. Rand throws a lazy right hand but Draven sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Draven let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Rand lands an uppercut, right on the button! Draven tumbles backwards into the ropes, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Pearson parries the strikes from Archer easily there. Archer is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pearson to escape.

A short uppercut from Tankian. Tankian lands with a left to the head. Tankian throws a head punch that misses. Tankian working some nice short punches in the clinch. Nice body punch from Tankian. Ecik is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Tankian is defending well. Tankian lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ecik backwards. #TD# Ecik has picked Tankian up - he's going for a ride! Ecik dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tankian is looking to escape.
