#R1# James shoots in and drives through. Groo sprawls well. James tries to close the distance and clinch up but Groo swats him away and circles back towards the center. #TD2# James scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Groo tries to kick James off in order to stand up. James Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Groo is trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Groo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# James is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Groo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Groo wants to get back to his feet but James drags him back down. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. James postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Groo sneaks back into half guard. Groo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for James on the ground. Groo tries to roll over but James keeps him under control.#SUB# Groo looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Groo is trying to control but can't.
#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. James moves nicely into side control. #SU2# James stands up and we're back to a striking position. James shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Groo pinned against the cage. Groo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. James shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Groo but Groo pushes him off and we're back to square one. Han Groo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy James. James leaves Groo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.#T3##CL2# James forces Groo back against the cage and clinches.#BC# Groo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

#T4##CL2# James rushes Groo and presses him up against the cage. James has Groo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Groo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. James tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Groo smiles and moves away.
#CL# James tries to keep at a distance but Groo has taken the fight into the clinch. Groo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Groo stops a takedown attempt from James.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! James tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Groo just stands there and leans against the cage. Groo landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Groo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. James is in Groo's guard. James wants to pass the guard but Groo is keeping the position.#ES# Groo has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. James wants to control from the top but Groo keeps moving. #SUB2# James thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. #T4# James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Groo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Groo controlling the position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. James connects with a couple of short punches.#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! James throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Groo. Groo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Groo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. James manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Han Groo. Well Groo has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... #R1##CL2# Helsing gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Browning is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Helsing is defending well. Browning is trying to maintain a safe position but Helsing gets an underhook and turns Browning into the cage.#TD2# Helsing tightens his grip and picks Browning up, before dumping him to the ground. Browning manages to land in guard. #ES# Browning manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.#BC# Browning pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.#CL2# Helsing closes the distance and clinches. Browning jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Helsing walks away with a smile on his face. Browning gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Browning scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Helsing doesn't seem bothered though. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. No joy there for Browning, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Browning has picked Helsing up and slammed him! Helsing can't keep hold of the triangle and Browning manages to pass to side control! Browning gets to mount! He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
