Dio has Ahmadaliev flattened out and is raining down punches. Well, with Dio on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Ahmadaliev is tapping out... Can he escape the position? He's pushed Gomez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tromp displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gomez. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tito Gomez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gomez fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Tromp unleashes a big counter combination but Gomez bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. A swing and a miss from Tromp. Gomez attempts a counter takedown but Tromp avoids it well and moves away. Tromp throws a right and a left that both miss. Gomez shoots in for a takedown. Stout is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Yamada tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stout just stands there and leans against the ropes. Yamada drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Stout gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Tromp knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Panado on the ground. Panado works his way into side control. Panado tries to advance to mount but Tromp denies him. Tromp shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Harrak defends it nicely. Harrak fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tromp looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tromp connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. #T1# Tromp tries to close the distance and clinch but Harrak swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tromp throws a combination that misses and Harrak counters with a nice body shot. Tromp bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. We've been informed that Tromp has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Wagner misses with a straight left. As Wagner backs off Tromp throws a huge counter combo but Wagner manages to avoid it all. Wagner throws a solid leg kick but Tromp takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Wagner.
