Blachowicz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mcguire is keeping the position for now. Mcguire lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blachowicz looking to sweep here. Mcguire might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mcguire throwing strikes from guard but Blachowicz blocks nicely. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Blachowicz controls Mcguire momentarily but Mcguire frees himself. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Mcguire throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Blachowicz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jan Blachowicz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#T3# Mcguire circles away from the clinch attempt.
Blachowicz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mcguire.
Blachowicz wants to clinch. Mcguire tries to counter by clinching up but Blachowicz breaks away and moves out of range.#TD2# Blachowicz fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mcguire to the ground. Blachowicz is now in Mcguire's guard. Mcguire is trying to keep Blachowicz in close.

#SUB# Mcguire has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Blachowicz should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Mcguire has tightened it up now! Blachowicz should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
