That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Carlos Alves.
Well Chalke has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Cody Chalke rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
The defeated Carlos Alves had this to say: 'Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Wrestling and life are that way. So im going To train harder for the next time'.

Horton tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Alves cranks the arm and Horton screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Horton, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Carlos Alves spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
