Hendrix is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hendrix lands a nice short elbow. Hendrix thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Hendrix takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Tsukerman pushes Hendrix off looking to stand but Hendrix dives back in and keeps control.

#R1# Vakhula's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kevolle connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vakhula scrambles back to his feet. Vakhula moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Vakhula uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kevolle. Vakhula is looking for a counter combo. Kevolle sizes up Vakhula with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. A left lands for Kevolle. A swing and a miss from Kevolle. Kevolle scores with a nice strike. Kevolle throws a jab when Vakhula was well out of range. Vakhula went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Kevolle misses with a series of wild punches.
Kevolle throws a hook to the side of Vakhula's head but Vakhula sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Vakhula throws a big counter combination but Kevolle scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Kevolle misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
This has been an exciting period of action! The fighters circling - Kevolle throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Vakhula looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Vakhula keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kevolle. Vakhula takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kevolle uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Vakhula has time to react. Kevolle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vakhula. #T1# The crowd cheers as Kevolle lands an impressive looking overhand right. Vakhula doesn't seem phased though. Kevolle might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Nice sprawl there from Vakhula as Randolph shoots in.#TD2# Vakhula is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Randolph's half guard. Vakhula not doing much here.
