Slaughter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. #CL2# Slaughter has closed the distance and engaged Bush in a clinch.
Bush jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Slaughter walks away with a smile on his face. Bush gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bush is looking to clinch. Bush swats away the attempt to clinch by Slaughter .#CL# Bush closes the distance and pushes Slaughter back into the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bush is trying to force a seperation but Slaughter has the dominant position. Bush content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Bush throws a big counter combination but Slaughter scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Bush walks into a stiff left hand from Slaughter .#CUT2# It looks like Tyree Bush has been cut. Steve Slaughter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slaughter throws a head kick that misses. #CL# Bush pushes Slaughter up against the cage in a clinch. Slaughter managing to block the knees to the body from Bush.
#BC2# Slaughter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Slaughter moves to clinch but Bush breaks away #TD# and Bush counters with a nice double leg into side control. Slaughter won't be happy with that. Slaughter bucks up and tries to throw Bush off but instead Bush has got his back! Bush controlling well, preventing Slaughter from escaping the position.
What can Slaughter do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Cannon waves Stephenson back to his feet!#CUT2# It looks like Lester Stephenson has been cut.#CL2# Cannon forces Stephenson back against the cage and clinches.#TD# Stephenson pulls guard effortlessly. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#ES# Stephenson is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A right hand to the body from Stephenson.
Cannon is trying to push Stephenson away but Stephenson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.#TD2# Cannon gets control of Stephenson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cannon will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Stephenson working some strikes from top position.#SU# Stephenson gets to his feet. Cannon looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Cannon tries to clinch up but Stephenson circles away and keeps his distance. Cannon batters Stephenson with a massive right followed by a huge left! Stephenson is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Cannon lands a final crushing right hand to drop Stephenson to the mat with a gruesome thud! Cannon is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

#R1# Slaughter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Slaughter shoots in but Anton avoids the takedown attempt easily. Anton with the counter takedown but Slaughter avoids it easily. Slaughter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Anton's waist but Anton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Slaughter off to one side. And Anton tries to counter it with a takedown but Slaughter pushes his down on his head and steps out. Anton takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Slaughter . We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Slaughter .
