Khurtsidze seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Angel does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Khurtsidze walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Robinson tries to sprawl but Khurtsidze drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Robinson is looking to control Khurtsidze's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Robinson avoid being mounted?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Khurtsidze is looking to advance position but Robinson won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Khurtsidze seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Robinson for as long as he can get away with.
Khurtsidze thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Robinson's head.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Khurtsidze feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
