#R1# Coffey fails with the takedown.#TD2# Rop throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Coffey tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rop is in Coffey's guard. Coffey working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rop. Rop working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Coffey wants to stand up but Rop is controlling him. Rop has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Coffey keeping full guard, as Rop tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rop looking to sit in guard and control but Coffey gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR##T1# Coffey missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Rop is trying to keep Coffey in close.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Coffey's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Coffey will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Coffey in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Coffey has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rop wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Coffey is now in half guard. Rop avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Coffey. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Coffey has Rop pulled in close to control his posture. Rop wants to control from the top but Coffey keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coffey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That was a close second round but I would say that Ben Coffey will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Rop prevents Coffey from escaping the position.#SUB2# Rop is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Coffey is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Coffey is trying to improve his position.#T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.#SUB2# Rop tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. #SUB2# Rop swings around for an armbar but Coffey sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Rop's guard. Tuki Rop has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ben Coffey is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ben Coffey. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Coffey, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Davies is looking for a sweep. Bailey is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bailey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Davies trying to control but Bailey postures up.
Davies wants to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bailey working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Davies trying to control here.

#R1# Nice jab there from Rumble. #CUT2# It looks like Ben Coffey has been cut. Rumble misses with an attempted mid kick.
Rumble looks to land a right hand but Coffey moved out of range. Coffey keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rumble displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Coffey. A countering left hand to the body from Rumble misses. Coffey ducks right into an uppercut from Rumble. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coffey bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Rumble just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromCoffey. and Rumble counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Coffey! He's just covering up as Rumble starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

#R1# A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sak is defended easily by Bailey. Sak fails with the takedown enabling Bailey to counter with a crisp jab. Sak shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bailey pinned against the cage. Bailey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Antonia Bailey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cory Sak. Sak misses with a takedown attempt #TD# and Bailey counters with a shoot takedown. Sak fights it but they end up in guard. Sak is striking from the bottom but Bailey uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Sak works his way to full guard. Good work. It looked like Coffey was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Prime jabs Coffey right on the nose. Coffey blinks but takes it well.#ROC2# Coffey is rocked! BAM! Prime delivers a spinning backfist that drops Coffey like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

#R1# Bailey uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Longmire. Bailey takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Longmire jabs Bailey to the body, keeping him at a distance. Longmire misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jake Longmire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Longmire lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bailey at a distance.

Longmire feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Baileys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Longmire throws a hook to the side of Bailey's head but Bailey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Longmire thuds a left hand into Bailey's body. Bailey moves out of range of the strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Longmire throws a nice looking combination but Bailey bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Longmire rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bailey moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bailey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Longmire drops Bailey with a straight right hand, right on the button! Longmire follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Jack persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Bailey has momentary wrist control but Jack slips an elbow through the middle. Jack landing with the ground and pound. Jack postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Bailey covers up, he's hurt! Jack keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Jack and the ref steps in to end the fight! Jack can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Soul has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Soul tries to close the distance and clinch but Bailey swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Soul feints with a jab and clips Bailey right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Bailey is sent crashing into the canvas and Soul leaps in for the kill! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
