Downs on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Luke Sheridan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD2# Sheridan dives in and scores a takedown into Downs's guard.#SUB2# Sheridan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Downs wants to sweep here but Sheridan controlling him for the moment. Sheridan wants to stand but Downs is controlling his posture from full guard. Sheridan preventing the sweep. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sheridan prevents a takedown attempt there.

Leroy scores with a jab. Waters acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Waters's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Leroy connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Waters scrambles back to his feet. Leroy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Leroy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Waters swats him away and circles back towards the center. Waters half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Leroy throws a lazy uppercut
#CL# and Waters counters by clinching up. Leroy is trying to push Waters away but Waters has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.#TD# Waters jumps guard and drags Leroy to the mat. It's hard to tell if that hurt Downs or not. Downs tries for a takedown but Austin manages to get underhooks.
#TD2# Austin gets a trip takedown into half guard. Downs has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Austin is working away from the top position though. Austin looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Austin working Downs over with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Austin perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Austin's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Downs is looking for a sweep. Austin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.#T1# Austin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Leroy works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Waters has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Leroy avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Waters wants to break the clinch but can't.
Leroy leaning his opponent against the cage. Waters tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Leroy smiles and moves away.
Leroy goes for a small jab and connects. Now Leroy goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Waters stumbles back but Leroy runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Waters to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Waters will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Boii tries to bench press Waters off him but Waters keeps the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SU# Waters decides to stand back up. Boii closes this distance looking for a takedown but Waters circles away. Boii scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. #CUT2# It looks like Michale Waters has been cut. Boii throws a sloppy head kick and Waters moves out of range easily. #CL# Boii tries to keep at a distance but Waters has taken the fight into the clinch. A short body shot lands from Boii as the two fighters clinch.

Waters misses with a takedown attempt - Boii sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Boii throws a right hand that Waters ducks under and follows up with a left that Waters also avoids with ease. Waters drops down looking for a counter takedown but Boii sprawls and moves away.#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Waters is looking to control Boii's arms but Boii gets an underhook and turns him. Now Waters has his back to the cage. Waters takes an elbow to the temple. Boii lands with a short head shot on the inside. #T2# Boii manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Boii throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Waters blocks it with crossed arms. Waters is trying to break the clinch but Boii has him pressed against the cage. #BC# Waters escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

#TD# and Waters counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.#SU# Waters decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. A head kick by Boii misses #CL# and Waters counters by moving into the clinch. Waters fails to pull guard.
#TD# Waters jumps guard and drags Boii to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. #T3# Waters keeping moving, preventing Boii from controlling successfully. Boii in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Boii missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Waters could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boii accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Boii has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Boii won't allow Waters to get back to his feet. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Waters is on top in guard.
#REVR# Boii looks winded! Waters won't allow Boii to sweep him here. Waters throws a big elbow that misses. #SU# Waters stands and steps away. Boii gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. A punch combination from Waters misses. Boii attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.#T4##CL2# Boii has closed the distance and engaged Waters in a clinch.
