#R1##TD2# DaGreat feints and as Anderson raises his hands in defense, DaGreat changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. DaGreat stopping the sweep attempt from Anderson. DaGreat trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom. DaGreat missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. DaGreat keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Anderson's head. Anderson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. DaGreat must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. DaGreat prevents Anderson from getting back to his feet. Anderson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Anderson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. DaGreat trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anderson pulls DaGreat in close to prevent any damage. Anderson doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Anderson looks for a takedown but DaGreat sprawls well. DaGreat stuffs the takedown. Anderson shoots in for a takedown but DaGreat shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stanley Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Whack! DaGreat lands a heavy head kick that drops Anderson. The ref tackles DaGreat to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Anderson was done.
