We've been hearing good reports from Wius's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Wius loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Albber wants to stand but Wius is controlling the position. Albber keeping moving, preventing Wius from controlling successfully. Wius with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Wius controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wius wants to control from the top but Albber keeps moving. Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Rodrizinho Chai (ranked 5504 p4p, 514 weight class) and Frando Delmar (ranked 23725 p4p, 598 weight class). Frando Delmar is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Rodrizinho Chai! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Frando Delmar! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.

I was talking to Epirus's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Epirus throws a head punch that misses. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Irvin has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. and Pichushkin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A low kick from Steel is predictable there and Pichushkin counters with a body kick that stops Steel in his tracks momentarily. Steel loads up on a big right hand but Pichushkin slips the punch. Pichushkin scores with the left hand. Steel knows he should have avoided that one. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Steel, right into the meat.
