Dyer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dyer manages to kick Haapsalo off! Haapsalo jumps back into Dyer's guard. #SUB2# Haapsalo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Haapsalo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dyer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dyer is pulling down on Haapsalo's head to control his posture. Haapsalo passes Dyer's left leg - he's now in half guard. Haapsalo is looking to take a break and control but Dyer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dyer wants to get back to full guard but Haapsalo has mounted him! #SU2# Freeling stands up and beckons Pollard to join him on the feet. Nice sprawl there from Freeling as Pollard shoots in. Duke Freeling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Freeling shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pollard defends it nicely. Pollard was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
