Salas has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.#TD# Salas pulls guard. Salas looking for a sweep. Not yet Salas, not yet. Salas is pulling down on Kolbe's head to control his posture. Salas keeping moving, preventing Kolbe from controlling successfully. Salas pulls Kolbe in to control the position. Salas looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kolbe trying to control but Salas is working from the bottom. Salas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. Salas has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kolbe has momentary wrist control but Salas slips an elbow through the middle. Salas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.#T3##SU# Salas decides to stand and escape the position. A head kick by Kolbe misses #TD# and Salas counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kolbe won't be happy with that. #ES2# Kolbe throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!#SUB2# Kolbe has his foot on Salas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Salas works his way back into a safe position though. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Salas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kolbe trying to control the position.

Matthews with a flurry of punches that miss. Matthews throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Van Den Berg works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Matthews missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Van Den Berg is looking to stand up but Matthews isn't so interested in that idea. Garcia is looking to advance position but Kolbe won't allow it. #SUB2# Garcia is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Garcia is trying to control. Kolbe wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kolbe tries to roll over but Garcia keeps him under control.#SUB# Kolbe is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Garcia pulls his head out easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Garcia seems to be working for a kimura but Kolbe defends the submission attempt. Garcia wants to free his trapped foot but Kolbe is holding on for dear life with his legs. #T1##SUB2# Garcia is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

#R1##TD# Galloway drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Galloway controls the position. #SUB# Galloway tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Galloway has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kolbe is looking to regain half guard here but Galloway keeps moving and retains side control. A lull in the action here as Galloway stalls from top position. Galloway seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kolbe for as long as he can get away with. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Galloway's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#T1# Kolbe managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Galloway.
