Griffin will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Aldo up against the cage. Griffin doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Griffin lands an elbow that stopped Aldo in his tracks for a moment. #CUT2# It looks like Jose Aldo has been cut. Aldo being controlled against the cage. Griffin controlling the action here for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Griffin lands a hook to the side of the head. Griffin lands an elbow inside. #TD# Aldo successfully pulls guard.
Griffin engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. #T1# Aldo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Griffin pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Aldo! Griffin unloads with more strikes and Aldo sinks to his knees! #R1# Neutron moves out of range of the strikes. A looping hook to the body misses from Wellman Iv. Neutron does a little dance to reset his feet. A telegraphed right hand from Wellman Iv misses the target. Neutron shoots and misses and Wellman Iv counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Neutron shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wellman Iv pinned against the cage. Wellman Iv gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A jab lands there for Neutron. Wellman Iv connects with a crisp jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Neutron misses with a takedown letting Wellman Iv counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Neutron. That's going to take a lot out of him. Neutron tests Wellman Iv's chin there with a solid looking shot. Neutron swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wellman Iv throws a hook but Neutron blocks it.#T1# Neutron takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Wellman Iv connects with the punch.#ROC2# Neutron is rocked! Wellman Iv lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Neutron up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Wellman Iv from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Neutron's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shane Wellman Iv! In his post fight interview, Shane Wellman Iv started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

#R1##TD2# Paul drives through with a takedown into guard. Paul pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jackson is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Paul is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.#SUB2# Paul drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Paul jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Paul slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Paul sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jackson's guard. Paul looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Paul trying to control from half guard but Jackson is working away. Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Paul on the ground.#T1# Paul is controlling the pace.

#R1# Muhammad keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A shot to the liver by Muhammad. Beautiful body shot. Artur Aleksanyan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aleksanyan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Muhammad paws at him with a jab and circles away. Muhammad works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.#KD# Muhammad cracks Aleksanyan with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Aleksanyan looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Muhammad finish him?
#ROC# Aleksanyan is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Muhammad punishes Aleksanyan's body with a nice straight punch. Aleksanyan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
#KD# and Muhammad counters with a nice right hand that sends Aleksanyan toppling to the canvas! Aleksanyan scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Muhammad finish him?! Aleksanyan is still on wobbly legs! Can Muhammad finish him?#T1# Muhammad dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Aleksanyan seems to have recovered his senses. Muhammad closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Aleksanyan! Muhammad dives in looking to finish! Aleksanyan is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Abraham Muhammad! Abraham Muhammad retains his light heavyweight title! After winning the bout, Abraham Muhammad thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

#R1# Messie tries to bum rush Nazaryan with a series of wild strikes but Nazaryan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nazaryan defending well as Messie loads up on a big left hand. Messie scores with a hook to the body. Nazaryan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Messie ducks down and throws a hook to the body. A left and a right from Messie both land. Nice combination. Messie lands with an overhand left. Messie lands a right hook to the body.
Messie throws a right hand that Nazaryan ducks under and follows up with a left that Nazaryan also avoids with ease. Good shot there by Messie. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Messie lands with a shot to the body. Nazaryan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nazaryan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Messie swivels and escapes. Messie takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.#T1# Messie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nazaryan moves away. Nazaryan feinted with a counter takedown. Messie dodges the punch combination from Nazaryan.
Messie swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Messie jabs Nazaryan to the body, keeping him at a distance. A jab from Messie misses. Messie lands a glancing blow to the side of Nazaryan's head. Messie wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Nazaryan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harlem Nazaryan. That's going to take a lot out of him.#KD2# Messie lands a big right hand that sends Nazaryan crashing to the mat! Messie stays standing though and waves Nazaryan back to his feet!#ROC2# Nazaryan is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nazaryan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Oh Nazaryan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Aleksanyan won't allow Hambro to sweep him here. Aleksanyan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hambro has his hands on Aleksanyan's head, controlling the position. #SUB2# Aleksanyan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Aleksanyan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hambro has control of Aleksanyan's left arm, preventing Aleksanyan from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hambro preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hambro keeping full guard, as Aleksanyan tries to pass. Aleksanyan slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.#T1# You can see the frustration on Hambro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hambro is trying to get back to half guard. Hambro is not content to let Aleksanyan control the position. Hambro is trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aleksanyan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hambro keeps working. Aleksanyan gets to mount! Hambro was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. #T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hambro tries to hold on but Aleksanyan postures up. Aleksanyan wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Hambro is squirming around, avoiding Aleksanyan's attempts to control the action. #SUB2# Aleksanyan goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hambro turns into him and now he's in Aleksanyan's guard.

and Wallace connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Wallace has been working on his boxing with his coaches at SinPro Gym in the buildup to the fight. Wallace swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.#TD2# Aldo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wallace was covering up waiting for the punch and Aldo finishes the takedown easily into guard. Aldo trying to control but Wallace is working from the bottom. Aldo wants to pass the guard but Wallace is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aldo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Aldo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Wallace working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Aldo. #T1# Aldo content to stall in guard here. Aldo throwing strikes from guard but Wallace blocks nicely. Aldo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Aldo avoids a punch combination nicely.

#R1# Neutron connects with a crisp jab. Reed stuffs the takedown. Reed looks to land a right hand but Neutron moved out of range. A telegraphed right hand from Reed misses the target. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Neutron is defended easily by Reed. Neutron staying out of range there. Neutron swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Reed appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Reed throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Neutron doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Neutron looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Neutron is looking to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big right from Neutron misses. A countering left hand to the body from Reed misses. Neutron takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Reed keeps the fight on the outside. It seemed like Reed was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.#TD# Neutron manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Reed on his heels. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A leg kick checked by Reed. A shot to the body from Neutron misses and Reed counters with a lovely straight right hand! Reed misses with a double jab.

Carlos Neutron decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Aleksanyan drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hambro defends it well. Hambro throws a jab when Aleksanyan was well out of range. Hambro comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Aleksanyan avoids the body shot from Hambro.
Hambro misses with a looping left. Hambro misses with a jab, cross combination.
Aleksanyan needs to keep his hands up - Hambro had a free shot at his head there. Hambro feints a jab promting Aleksanyan to slip. Hambro then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Aleksanyan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Aleksanyan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hambro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
