Unknown is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Snitch is controlling him. Unknown can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Snitch controls the pace. Snitch works a leg free and moves into half guard. Unknown tries to roll over but Snitch keeps him under control. Unknown is looking to escape.#T1# The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Snitch's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. I was talking to Snitch's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A left hand lands to the body for Snitch.

McGrady loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. McGrady postures up in Mata's guard and throws a big left but Mata blocks it. Mata preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. McGrady looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. McGrady chips away with some ground and pound. Romero throws a hook but Rodrigues blocks it. Raymondo Romero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rodrigues throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Rodrigues loads up on a big right hand but Romero slips the punch. Rodrigues looks for a takedown but Romero sprawls well. Romero throws a hook but Rodrigues avoids it easily.#TD# Rodrigues scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Romero bucks up and tries to throw Rodrigues off but instead Rodrigues has got his back! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Romero is trying to get back to his feet but Rodrigues has full control of the position and if anything, Romero has just worked his way into a worse spot.#SUB# Rodrigues is persistently looking for the submission but Romero is defending it well.
