#R1# Carter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Carter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Taylor paws at him with a jab and circles away. Taylor throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Taylor scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Taylor connects with the punch. Taylor lands with a cross. Marcus Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Taylor lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Carter backs up against the cage.
#ROC2# Carter is rocked! No luck for Carter with that takedown attempt. A little jabbing left from Taylor on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Oh Carter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Taylor lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Carter falls backwards - clearly groggy! Taylor dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

#R1# Howell jabs at Johnson's body. Johnson missing with a left hand there. Howell was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Johnson misses with a hook
and Howell counters with a nice uppercut. Howell lands a right hook to the body.
Howell connects with a body shot. Howell scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Howell closes the distance and lands a one-two. Johnson misses with a hook
and Howell counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson misses with a hook
and Howell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Johnson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Howell uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Johnson has time to react. The crowd cheers as Howell lands an impressive looking overhand right. Johnson doesn't seem phased though. Johnson takes a jab right on the kisser.
Howell stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.#ROC# Johnson is rocked! Howell steps in with a hook that catches Johnson right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Howell follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Johnson looks absolutely devastated.

#R1# Davenport throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Dragonov tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.#CL# Davenport closes the distance and pushes Dragonov back into the cage. Dragonov blocks an elbow strike.#TD2# Dragonov manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Davenport cracks Dragonov with a solid left hand. Dragonov wants to stand and escape but Davenport is having none of it. Davenport might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dragonov looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Davenport puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Davenport has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Davenport looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dragonov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #SUB# Davenport seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Dragonov is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

#R1##CL# Lobov forces Mikael back against the cage and clinches.#TD# Lobov decides to pull guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lobov pulls Mikael in close to prevent any damage. Lobov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Mikael makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Lobov wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Lobov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. #SUB# Lobov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mikael can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lobov keeping moving, preventing Mikael from controlling successfully. #T1# Lobov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mikael 's guard. #REVR# Lobov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Mikael really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lobov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lobov stands and throws Mikael 's legs to the side, diving into side control. Mikael is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Lobov is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Mikael blocking the ground and pound. Lobov avoids the attempt from Mikael to control. Poor strikes thrown by Lobov there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Mikael should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Lobov throwing strikes but missing. #T4# Lobov trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lobov stays in close to Mikael 's body and controls the position. Lobov trying to control but Mikael is working from the bottom. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Lobov controls the pace of the fight for a moment.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mikael closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lobov circles away. Lobov stuffs the takedown. Lobov fails miserably with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
