#R1# Turtle shoots in for a double leg but Walsh sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.#TD# Walsh looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Turtle is looking to stand back up but Walsh counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Turtle. #REVB##SUB# Walsh looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Walsh working over Turtle with some ground and pound. Turtle looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.#SUB# Walsh is looking for a kimura but Turtle is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Walsh to get the leverage. #T1# The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Walsh connects with a nice short shot to Turtle's temple. Walsh lands strikes from half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Walsh lands a nice short elbow. Walsh winds up and cracks Turtle with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Walsh connects with a nice short shot to Turtle's temple. Walsh seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. #SUB# Walsh wants to work for an arm triangle but Turtle is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
#SUB# Walsh is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Turtle is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

#R1# Hangnail has a takedown stuffed. Welch seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.#TD# Hangnail gets caught flat footed, as Welch shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Welch controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hangnail manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Welch manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVB# Hangnail sitting in guard, not really doing much. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Welch utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. #T1# Hangnail trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hangnail would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Welch controls Hangnail momentarily but Hangnail frees himself. Hangnail trying to control but Welch is working from the bottom. Hangnail seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #SUB# Hangnail got a little sloppy there for a moment and Welch has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hangnail has managed to get both his arms back between Welch's legs - danger averted.#T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Welch looking for a sweep. Not yet Welch, not yet. Hangnail seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Hangnail throws a strike but Welch rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR# Hangnail wants to sweep here but Welch controlling him for the moment. Welch postures up.
#SUB2# Hangnail is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Welch is aware though and is defending well. Hangnail is trying to control the position but Welch postures up. Hangnail is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#T3##KD2# Hangnail drops Welch with a beautiful combination! Welch stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hangnail is looking for the KO!#CUT2# It looks like Lee Welch has been cut. Hangnail will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Welch really is a fat lump. Hangnail throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Welch seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Hangnail looks winded! Hangnail tries to bum rush Welch with a series of wild strikes but Welch uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Welch displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hangnail. It looked like Welch was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Hangnail. Lee Welch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gandalf Hangnail.#TD# Welch gets a double leg takedown into Hangnail's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Welch works over Hangnail with some ground and pound from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Welch controlling from the top position. Hangnail is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. #T4# Hangnail being controlled here, momentarily. Hangnail throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Welch sitting in guard, not really doing much. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hangnail throws a sloppy head kick #CL# and Welch counters by clinching up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Gandalf Hangnail will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Lee Welch's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! #R2# Hangnail connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Welch! He's out on his feet! Hangnail rushes in and drops Welch with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

#R1# Chase circles away from the clinch attempt.
#CL2# McDirty pushes Chase up against the cage in a clinch. Chase really is a fat lump.#TD# Chase is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. McDirty can't fight it off and eventually Chase manages to take the fight to the floor. McDirty looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. McDirty wants to sweep here but Chase controlling him for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Chase drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chase jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. McDirty is looking to stand up but Chase isn't so interested in that idea. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Chase's corner. There ya go! There ya go! #T1# Chase with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. McDirty wants to get back to his feet but Chase passes into half guard.
