Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Fautanua is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Garza is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. #R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Balor misses with a two punch combination.
Bryan tries for a takedown but Balor circles away easily and Balor counters with a straight right hand. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Balor, as that shot connected.
#CUT2# It looks like Nicolas Bryan has been cut.#TD# Bryan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Balor wants to improve his position but Bryan is controlling well.

Bryan is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Finn Balor decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
