The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ahmadaliev scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Ahmadaliev slows the pace down in half guard. Steefler is trying to maintain the position but Ahmadaliev is very close to passing his half guard. Ahmadaliev looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Steefler with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #SUB# Ahmadaliev is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Steefler doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ahmadaliev. Ahmadaliev seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. Debrine uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Steefler. Steefler is looking to clinch. Steefler fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Debrine avoids it really well and circles away. Debrine wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Debrine fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
