A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Smith.
Wolf shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smith pinned against the cage. Smith gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Smith is looking to clinch but Wolf is avoiding it.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wolf swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Smith throws a chopping leg kick but Wolf manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Wolf drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Smith defends it well.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Phoenix Smith.
