Allen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Boo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Allen in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Allen working the head and body with strikes.
Allen trying to control the position but Boo is working away.
Boo wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Allen is looking to take a break and control but Boo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Boo circles away from the clinch attempt
and Boo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Allen thinking.
Allen moves forwards but Boo connects with a nice, crisp jab.#TD#

Allen is trying to control Boo's posture but Boo avoids it.
Allen is looking for a sweep.

Boo is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Allen rolls with it to try and escape but Boo cranks on the arm and Allen is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Boo doesn't manage to clinch there - Sampson circles away.
Sampson appears to be looking for a big counter.
Sampson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#TD2#

Boo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sampson's half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sampson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That was a close round but I would say that Arlie Sampson will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Arlie Sampson.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sampson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Boo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Maia tries to buck Boo off but Boo is having none of it.
Maia is not content to let Boo control the position.
Maia tries to bench press Boo off him but Boo keeps the position.
Boo grinds an elbow into Maia's temple.
Maia avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Boo.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maia stops Boo from passing to mount.
Maia tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Boo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maia manages to get back to half guard.
Maia makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Maia.#SUB2#
Maia escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Boo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #SUB2#
Boo is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Maia has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Boo is looking to defend but Maia has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Boo! Maia pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Boo taps out and this one is all over!
