Bashar shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Norvac defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jobe Bashar . We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bashar on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.#TD# Bashar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Norvac was covering up waiting for the punch and Bashar finishes the takedown easily into guard. #ES2# Norvac wriggles free and stands up. #T1# Bashar walks into a stiff left hand from Norvac. Norvac defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bashar . Norvac's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bashar under the eye. Norvac misses with a few strikes there.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bashar is looking to clinch. Norvac is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Norvac throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bashar is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Norvac throws the left hand but Bashar avoids the punch easily. A counter left hand to the body from Bashar misses its target. Jimmy Norvac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD# Bashar scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Norvac has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Norvac tests Bashar 's chin there with a solid looking shot. Norvac looks to land a combination but Bashar avoids it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bashar missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Jimmy Norvac is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.#T3# Bashar takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Norvac throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bashar . Norvac lands a jab to the head.

Norvac struggling a bit here.#SU# Bashar has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bashar misses the jab. Jobe Bashar has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bashar fails to land with a series of punches.
