#R1# A left and a right from Sherridan both land. Nice combination. #CL2# Sherridan takes the fight into the clinch. #TD2# Sherridan works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. #SU2# French is working an open guard so Sherridan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Sherridan darts in looking for a takedown but French gets double underhooks and turns Sherridan into the cage. Sherridan has a takedown stuffed. A quick step to the side and French tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Sherridan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from French. Sherridan with the counter takedown but French avoids it easily. Sherridan misses the shot to the body. Sherridan shoots in but French avoids the takedown attempt easily. Carlos French has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buck Sherridan. French tries a head kick but it misses.

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. #ES2# Sherridan makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Sherridan with a lazy takedown attempt and French counters with a stiff right hand. Sherridan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts French as he jumps to the side. French lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.#TD2# Sherridan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#SUB2# Sherridan wants to work for an arm triangle but French is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Nice submission by Sherridan!

Buck Sherridan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

#R1##TD2# Reinhart shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wyatt manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Reinhart wants to control from the top but Wyatt keeps moving. Reinhart is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Reinhart loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. #ES# Wyatt has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Reinhart is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Wyatt tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wyatt just content to control the position. That was a close round but I would say that Long Wyatt will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. Long Wyatt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Reinhart thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Wyatt is staying active underneath Reinhart, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Wyatt keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Luchin fails with the takedown and Respect connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Respect swings for the body but Luchin moves out of range.

Luchin has his takedown stuffed and Respect cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Respect connects with the punch. Luchin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Respect throws an overhand right that lands on Luchin's shoulder, as Luchin tries to avoid the shot. Luchin looks for a takedown but Respect sprawls well. Respect looks like he wants to counter punch here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diego Luchin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Luchin with a lazy takedown attempt and Respect counters with a lovely shot to the body. Respect pushes Luchin back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. A short left from Respect. Respect has Luchin pressed against the cage.
Respect makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Respect lands a hook to the side of the head.#T3# Respect lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Luchin to his knees! Respect keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
