#R1##CL2# Cart clinches up with Valdez and pushes him back against the cage. Cart keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Valdez's efforts to push away. Valdez wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Valdez really is a fat lump. Cart is trying to break the clinch but Valdez has him pressed against the cage. Cart avoids a wild elbow strike from Valdez.#TD2# Cart is trying to trip Valdez. He has hold of a leg but Valdez is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Cart persists though and gets the takedown into guard.#SU2# Cart decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Valdez, up you get! Valdez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cart as he avoids it easily. #CL2# Cart rushes Valdez and presses him up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Valdez prevents Cart from breaking the clinch.#TD2# Cart is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Valdez can't fight it off and eventually Cart manages to take the fight to the floor. Valdez looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Valdez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#SUB# Valdez looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Cart has picked Valdez up and slammed him! Valdez is not content to let Cart control the position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Valdez tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. #T3# Cart takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Cart throws some wild stikes that Valdez manages to avoid easily.

Cart tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Cart prevents Valdez from getting the reversal. Cart takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Cart throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. #T1# Cart seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Cart's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Valdez manages to get to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cart throwing strikes from guard but Valdez blocks nicely. #T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cart engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Valdez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cart's guard. #REVR# Valdez looking to sit in guard and control but Cart gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB##SU2# Cart gets to his feet. Valdez looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Cart misses with a kick to the body.
It looked like Valdez wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. John Cart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Valdez manages to get back to half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cart in particular looking to stall. Cart has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Valdez regains control of the situation pretty easily.

And that's the end of the fight! John Cart comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Cart has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Syndrome fails with a takedown attempt. #TD# Gaines closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gaines lands in his opponent's guard.#SUB2# Syndrome is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Syndrome trying to keep a closed guard but Gaines is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gaines wants to get up but he can't break Syndrome's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. #T1##SUB2# Syndrome working for submissions but it's allowed Gaines to get to half guard.
Syndrome is looking to regain full guard. Syndrome tries to clinch but Gaines moves out of range. Gaines half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Gaines throws a head kick but Syndrome moves out of range.
Syndrome shoots for a double leg takedown but Gaines sprawls well. He's pushed Syndrome's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Syndrome checks a low kick from Gaines.#T3# Syndrome goes for a double leg but Gaines avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gaines continues to drive forward. Syndrome looks winded!#TD# Gaines bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Syndrome tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.#SUB# Gaines has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Syndrome has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

He's hooked one of Dela Fuente's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dela Fuente's back! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Jalokin stuns Price with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Jalokin sizes up Price with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. #ROC2# Price is rocked! Price misses the body punch and Jalokin counters with a lovely straight right hand! Oh Price is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jalokin lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Price falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

Pratt sitting in guard, not really doing much. Pratt with a flurry of punches that miss. Pratt lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Milovski looking to control.

Pratt wanted to stand there but Milovski had control of the position. #R1# Punk throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dios's waist but Dios gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Punk off to one side. Punk shoots in but Dios avoids the takedown attempt easily. Dios throws a quick inside leg kick. Punk takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That kick from Dios tenderised Punk's leg. Punk is trying to keep his angry face on. A slapping leg kick lands for Dios.
Dios dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Punk. That did some damage! Dios throws a head kick that half lands.
#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Dios enables Punk to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dios manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#SUB2# Punk drops back looking for a leg! Dios is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dios manages to kick Punk off! Punk jumps back into Dios's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Punk slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.#T1# Punk staying calm. Dios is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Punk asserts his dominance and retains side control. Punk works to advance to full mount. Dios defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. #SUB2# Punk looking to isolate an arm here. Dios doesn't see it coming and as Punk extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Punk!

#R1# John defending well as Grayson loads up on a big left hand. Grayson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
John half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. John shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Grayson pinned against the cage. Grayson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. John slips under a jab from Grayson. It looked like John was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Grayson cracks John with a good jab. John fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Grayson lands a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. John shoots for a takedown but Grayson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corner John. That's going to take a lot out of him. Grayson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Grayson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but John moves out of range and avoids them all easily. John is looking for a counter combo. Richard Grayson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Decent striking displayed by Grayson there. John looks for a takedown but Grayson sprawls well.#T1# A jab lands there for Grayson. Grayson connects with the punch. John takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
