#R1# Medina tries for a takedown but Zaaaaaaa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.#TD2# Zaaaaaaa drives through with a takedown into Medina's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Zaaaaaaa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Medina wants to sweep here but Zaaaaaaa controlling him for the moment. #SUB# Zaaaaaaa is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Medina has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Zaaaaaaa is looking to defend but Medina has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Zaaaaaaa! Medina pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Zaaaaaaa taps out and this one is all over!

#R1# Mafeet throws a nice outside leg kick. Mafeet fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Anderson. Mafeet scores with a kick to the body.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mafeet. Anderson throws a nice looking combination but Mafeet bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Good leg kick by Mafeet there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Anderson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Anderson throws a head kick that misses. Mafeet lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Mafeet connects with a leg kick. Anderson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mafeet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mafeet can do anything to dispel that myth. Mafeet wants to control but Anderson postures up. Mafeet is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Anderson is one step ahead and moves to full mount!#T4# Anderson throwing strikes here but Mafeet is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

That was a close round but I would say that Buford Lane will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Buford Lane's cut. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Almeida showing good wrestling skills to control the position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
